SPECIALTY SHOW

This page is dedicated to those special little friends who forever changed our lives for the better.  May they never be forgotten...

They say memories are golden and I'm sure that this is true.
But I never wanted memories- I only wanted you.

In life I loved you dearly,  in death I love you still.
And in my heart you hold a place no one can ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.

"Miss Chips"

1996 - 2009

The loss of this little girl was a double blow to the heart of those who knew her.

The beloved baby of Deb Koplen, Miss Chips suffered more than perhaps we will ever know after loosing Deb to cancer in 2008.  At 13 years old, to loose her master and friend was no doubt devastating.  And although a new home was found, she wanted only to again be with her human.  So she left the new home in search of her Deb.  Many weeks later, Miss Chips was found alone and near starving, walking the streets, still searching.   She was reunited with people who knew her and loved her, but regardless of the love and care she received, it would never be enough.  It would never be the same.  No one could take her master's place.

So after only a few short weeks,  Miss Chips once again set out on her journey home- this time across Rainbow Bridge and, we believe, into the loving arms of her beloved Deb.  May they always be together for that is, after all, what Heaven is for.
